“Phil is one of a kind – personable, unobtrusive, committed and with an incredible eye for taking unusual shots. A great guy all round. We looked at lots of run-of-the-mill photographers but decided to go for Phil after looking at his gallery of natural-looking, different and unique photos.
Phil worked tirelessly on our wedding day at Lumley Castle. He knows the site well and was able to guide us to the best locations to produce some stunning photos. They always say not to work with animals or children, but Phil dealt very well with Bilbo the barn owl who delivered our wedding rings, and all the children at the wedding. We had a wonderful day and now have lots and lots of beautiful photos of those memories. The difficulty was in choosing photos for our album because there were just so many great shots! Doug and I think very highly of Phil and would recommend his services to any bride and groom who want something a bit different.”

“We met Phil at a wedding fair and instantly knew we wanted him as our photographer. His work is so unique and speaks for its self. What we didn’t want was hours of posing for shots and waiting for group shots, taking up so much time on our big day.
Phil was unobtrusive and got the best out of everyone, even the most reluctant guest. The run-up to the wedding we were in constant contact with Phil who was better than our wedding planner and sorted a timeline of the day making everything run so smoothly. We had met Phil at Lumley Castle and decided on shots around the grounds.
But to our dismay waking up on our wedding morning and seeing it was one of the wettest days of the year was heartbreaking! But Phil turned this to our advantage and we have some amazing dancing in the rain shots that are so unique to us. Looking back at our beautiful album the rain was one of the best things to happen on the day! It was Phil who made it possible. He made us laugh and put us at ease creating some of the best memories of our wedding day (how many brides can say they danced in the rain on their wedding day!).
