"Phil took photographs throughout the day beginning with myself and my bridesmaids dressing in the morning up until our night time party. The day after our wedding we went down to the beach, pier and arcade for more photographs. When we decided to get married we wanted our photographs to be something totally different to a traditional album but we never dreamed it could turn out to be so beautiful! We have a mix of everything from the more traditional family shots to the pictures we didn't even realize were being taken. Phil couldn't have made it easier, it was fun, easy going and enjoyable for everybody. It never once felt uncomfortable or formal and the album was exactly what we were looking for. We especially enjoyed the experience of having photos taken the day after. We had so much fun and it was fabulous to get dressed up again and go to unusual places, the arcade being a real highlight. Phil captured all the moments of the most special day of our lives and we feel like we could never thank him enough."

"After all the planning, organizing and nerves the day had finally come. The weather hadn’t been on our side on the run up to the day, but on Saturday 14th Aug the sun finally shone. We had Phil Smith as our photographer, attending previous weddings and seeing photographers who in my opinion were a little ‘pushy’ and over the top, I had my reservations, but this could not be further from the truth regarding Phil. From the initial meetings discussing different ideas of what we each wanted right through to looking at the pictures afterwards, Phil was the perfect photographer for our wedding. We found him adaptive to our ideas and are extremely pleased with the final outcome.

The morning of the wedding he was able to go between both houses and take discreet pictures of both bride (who was feeling especially nervous and Phil did a great job of assuring and making her feel at ease.) and groom/best man getting ready, joining in with jokes and generally being very easy going. The day passed with no hitches and the final pictures exceeded both of our expectations, we both are delighted with the DVD and the wedding albums (family members asked to have copies). We have recommended Phil to numerous people for their weddings and can’t rate him highly enough. Phil’s photographs of our wedding convey the joys and emotions of the day perfectly, and some of our favorites were taken without the need to pose.  We now have a fantastic reminder of fantastic day which we will not forget in a very long time."

Phil struck just the right balance; he was able to get all the shots that we’d asked of him but did so in a friendly and affable manner.
