Eleanor and Chris’ ‘DIY’ wedding was amazing with so many personal touches. Eleanor and Chris both live in Newcastle but chose their childhood home town of Cleethorpes as the setting for their special day. Eleanor dressed at her Mam’s house and they used a local scout field, one they’d both visited as kids, for the reception.

So many guests helped make their day so personal: Nana knitted all the centre pieces for the tables: The Great British Bake off – Cleethorpes style created a fantastic desert table (I particularly enjoyed the Guinness cake, it has to be said): Friends sang during Chris’ speech as well as during the service (which was held at the fantastically well restored Louth Town Hall).
