Newcastle Castle Wedding Photos with Patricia and Jonathan.
Newcastle Castle is an iconic, unique and spectacular wedding venue in the centre of Newcastle. The medieval Great Hall was the perfect place for the ceremony followed by drinks on the rooftop, overlooking Newcastle’s impressive skyline, and dancing and speeches back in the Great Hall; this really is a one of a kind place. The Castle predates back to Roman times however this ‘new’ castle was built in 1080 and is where the City took its name: Newcastle. And this is where Newcastle’s story began.
Below are a few photos of Patricia and Jonathan’s story. It was a lovely day to capture and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. While the wedding was steeped in history, with the iconic building, it also had a touch of the 21st Century: Patricia’s parents couldn’t make the trip to Newcastle so they watched the full day via a Skype call from Brazil!
