Introducing Anne-Marie and Lee’s wedding at Crathorne Hall in Yarm. Anne-Marie found my work via the internet as they live down in Lancashire. They decided not to get married in Lancashire and decided on the stunning Crathorne Hall for their special day. This was my first time documenting a wedding at Crathorne Hall. It’s a great place for a wedding, from the grand interiors, dramatic facade of the main building to hidden intimate spots around the grounds. I enjoyed spending a little time with a couple exploring the grounds of their venue to create some beautiful images. We had all the elements, beautiful sunshine and rain, so fun to get out in the rain for a few moments, (with help of two family member’s to hold brolly’s)
Been good to the environment is important to Anne-Marie and Lee. This was the first ever full vegetarian wedding at Crathorne complimented with vegan wine. The wedding rings were made from 100% recycled diamonds, platinum and gold which is the most ethical and least damaging method of jewellery creation. To further the ‘green theme’, all the flowers were made from paper. As a final touch, the wedding stationary was personally designed with hydrangeas, which are the flower of the Azores, where they went on honeymoon.
